UnionBank Holds First Face-To-Face Xcellerator Session for 2023 With “Xcellerate With U: Building Partnerships in Teching up Pilipinas”

UnionBank’s Xcellerator team recently held its first face-to-face session for this year, “Xcellerate With U: Building Partnerships in Teching Up Pilipinas”, on March 3, 2023 at the UnionBank Plaza Sky Lounge.
With over 189 attendees hailing from different universities such as the Asia Pacific College, De La Salle – College of St. Benilde, University of Santo Tomas, National University – Laguna, Far Eastern University – Tech, STI College, University of Makati, MAPUA, Ateneo de Manila University, and Polytechnic University of the Philippines, the whole day event provided an insight into the learning process of Xcellerator learners.
A series of masterclasses were conducted by subject matter experts from UnionBank. Various topics such as Blockchain, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Information Security and Data Privacy, API (Application Programming Interface), and Design Thinking were covered. Learners were able to participate in discourse with the experts, collaborate with their co-learners in shared activities, and explore potential career paths that await them depending on their chosen fields.
To cap off the day, a recognition event was held to honor the team behind Xcellerator, and to celebrate the partnerships, achievements, and efforts that it has made over the years as part of its commitment of teching up the Philippines.
