- Technological innovation and investment which aims to reduce occupational risks by replacing old machines not aligned with current standards, refurbishment of work premises from standard branches to ARK branches, and reengineering of systems and processes.
- Establishing Occupational Safety & Health Division which aims:
- To achieve compliance on all domestic laws & internationally-recognized standards on occupational safety & health.
- To protect every UnionBanker against injury & illness through safe & healthy working conditions thereby assuring the conservation of valuable manpower resources & the prevention of loss or damage to lives & properties through formulation & implementation of policies & programs related to occupational safety & health.
For a year and a half in operation the following initiatives has been done such as:
- Emergency management through establishment of emergency response team, conducting emergency drills
- Establishment of Environment, Occupational Safety & Health Committee which is composed of leaders & representatives from Branch Channel Management, Facilities Management, Human Resources & UBEA which aims to facilitate communication on health & safety issues
- Compliance on regulatory requirements which strongly manifest our commitment in provision of safe & health workplace for the bank
UnionBank is emerging in Occupational Safety and Health Management and believes that through cooperation we will be able to reduce risk, find opportunities for improvement, and the best practices in this discipline will be achieved.
