In Photos: UBP Davao Bowling Tournament 2023 Recap
After a 4-year hiatus, Davao City-based UnionBankers gathered once more in a spirit of camaraderie and competition to participate in the 2023 UBP Davao Bowling Tournament.
This one-day special event was organized by Tournament Manager Mr. Michael Paul Tan and Tournament Coordinator Mr. Jason Javellana.
Over 40 UnionBankers from various branches and departments registered for the event at SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center last September 9, 2023. Each team was led by seasoned bowling veterans, representing six teams: (1) Team Magis by Armand Plasabas (2) Team Selyado by Maria Teresa Laud, (3) Team Ubuntu by Roge Villos Jr., (4) Team Finacle by Albert Dela Peña, (5) Team Integrity by Mr. Elouie Betita and (6) Team DTP by Marcelino Samson.
To add more excitement to the tournament, notable male and female bowlers were recognized. Frederico Young (246 points) and Beverly Suelto (211 points) delivered outstanding performances for their respective teams. Additionally, Roge Villos achieved a remarkable feat as the only competitor to score a turkey during the event.

The team consisting of Vincent Lisao, Alyana Paso, Ellyn Lawagon, Christopher Ipan, Robert Samson, and Maty Lou Morales, achieved a total score of 1286, surpassing the valiant efforts of both the 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up teams.
