UnionBank Holds the 2024 AIDT Graduation Ceremony

On April 22, 2024, Union Bank of the Philippines hosted the graduation ceremony for the 10th batch of its Digital Transformation Executive Class graduates at the state-of-the-art UB Innovation Campus. The graduates, comprised of representatives from various government agencies, are eager to meet the demands of clients and digitally upgrade their services.  

 

The program kicked off with an opening remark from Ron Puno, UnionDigital Executive, AIDT Global Faculty member, and Chief Technology and Transformation Officer, commending the graduates for successfully completing the 8-week virtual learning course.  

Now, you are more equipped to seize, thrive and disrupt the traditional process that is slow and becoming irrelevant in today’s digital and tech-savvy world.”  
“Being an AIDT Graduate, I encourage you to wear it like a ‘badge of honor.’ Yes, you may earn more certfificates from other tech courses but the real masters know that when it comes to the actual digital transformation, you are well-equipped up here, in the mind.”

The event was hosted by Shen Ratilla, a seasoned HR Leader and former Senior Vice President of Business, Training, and Engagement at UnionBank. Shen kept the energy high with a fun digital quiz bee and congratulated the graduates for their commitment to digitally transforming the way they operate in their respective organizations.

This momentous event was made possible by the joint efforts of the Asian Institute of Digital Transformation, Aboitiz-led UnionBank, and Singapore-based Global Learning Solutions, along with the Department of Finance (DOF), Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Civil Service Commission (CSC), Philippine Insurance Commission (PIC), Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and the Local Government Unit – Municipality of San Vicente. All these organizations are committed to developing Digital Transformation Leaders to support the Tech Up Pilipinas sustainability movement.
