On March 16, 2024, UnionBank Volunteers from the Metro South Region gathered at Dasmarinas North National High School in Cavite for a GoBeyond Communities outreach activity titled “Learning League Project” to donate school supplies for the upcoming school year.
Led by UnionBank Branch Manager, April, a team of UnionBank volunteers from the Imus, Dasmarinas, Bacoor, and Tagaytay branches distributed donations for both the students and faculty of the school beneficiary.
“The department head and teachers were very thankful for the system units, printers, office supplies, and wall clocks that we donated, said April. “Before they are sharing one desktop PC and printer for every sharing one desktop PC and printer for every 300 students, but now they can efficiently print and use their learning materials with ease”, she ended.
The volunteers also arranged a financial literacy workshop wherein teachers, parents, along with their children learned about how they can save more money through banks and wise spending habits.
UnionBank’s GoBeyond Communities initiative continues to make a positive difference in the lives of the youth, proving that through collective effort and unwavering support, we can build stronger, more empowered communities. The dedication of UnionBankers in these outreach activities is a testament to their commitment to going beyond the ordinary and making a lasting impact on the future generations.
