UnionBank and World Vision Philippines Unite for a Day of Joy, Learning, and Support for Baseco Kids

Last August 18, 2023, UnionBank volunteers and World Vision Philippines teamed up for a special event at Jollibee Green Meadows Branch, dedicated to spreading joy and valuable lessons among 20 children from Baseco, a small town in Manila’s port area.
Mr. Rolly Ebreo, the GPS Team Head, set the tone for the day with his opening remarks, showcasing his remarkable 16-year commitment to supporting the charity organization.
The collaboration of UnionBank volunteers and the Jollibee crew ensured a memorable day, filled with fun games, exciting prizes, and delightful Jollibee treats for the children.
Following the games, UnionBank’s Office of Safety and Health Development (OSHD) delivered a concise yet impactful Disaster Preparedness presentation and demonstration. GO bags and hygiene kits were also distributed, equipping the children with essential items for unforeseen situations.
UnionBank also extended financial support for the children’s education in the upcoming school year. As their way of saying thanks, the children dedicated the remainder of the day to crafting heartfelt letters for the volunteers.
The day proved to be a delightful mix of smiles, games, and learning, illustrating the positive impact when people come together to create a better world for everyone.
