On April 24th, UnionBank’s Occupational Safety and Health Division hosted the “EcoMarket” on the 16th floor of UBP Plaza. This event was part of the Bank’s broader Safety Week event, aimed at promoting safety, environmental responsibility and sustainability to its employees.
The EcoMarket featured a range of eco-friendly vendors, each offering products that are both sustainable and crafted with care. These included Pure Culture, which provided affordable, premium skincare products, and BuiltaMart, which offered a selection of organic and healthy food options. Also featured were Woven, with their handcrafted bags and pouches; Sapinsapin, offering artsy accessories; and Craftcha, which showcased artfully recycled clothing. This product lineup ensured that there was something for every taste and interest, all aligned with the theme of sustainability.
UnionBankers also enjoyed special offers and freebies, with BuiltaMart giving away free gluten-free popcorn and discount vouchers to those who registered on their app.
By hosting eco-friendly vendors and showcasing sustainable products at the EcoMarket, the Bank has made it easier for its employees to shop smarter and live greener. This initiative not only educates them about eco-conscious practices but also inspires them to integrate these practices into their everyday lives.
