Over 400 UnionBankers joined the 1-hour e-learning session titled “Cloud 101” held last Friday, August 12, to learn more about the Bank’s Cloud transformation initiatives.
The e-learning session serves as the first of many learning sessions aimed at increasing the Bank’s cloud–skills that are slated for August. It was organized by the Bank’s ULAP Guild (Users, Load, Applications, and Platforms) to increase the agility of Cloud adaption, through cloud-capability sessions.
AWS Delivery Lead Sophia Hunt also highlighted the benefits of cloud computing, its relation to UnionBank’s financial expertise, and how it could improve the bank’s IT Infrastructure, services, and overall customer experience.
“The customers who adopt the modern application development process of AWS allow them to reach the market faster, increase their rate of innovation, and build reliable applications at a reduced cost.” said Sophia.
The e-learning session capped with an insightful Q&A session with Sophia and AWS Enterprise Account Manager, Mitch Bautista, and Senior Organizational Development Manager, Ms. Joanna Romero.
