On January 27, 2024, UnionBank volunteers from the Laoag San Nicolas branch donated construction materials to renovate the old comfort rooms at the Ilocos Norte College of Arts and Trades.
According to the school teachers, UnionBank was the first bank and donor to renovate their old comfort rooms. The students were grateful for the volunteers’ and the bank’s generosity.
UnionBank Junior Branch Ambassador for North Luzon region, Criselda Uy expressed her joy in the successful outreach as she explains,“It is very fulfilling in our part that we were able to initiate this kind of project. We are very proud that we, UnionBankers, are ready to go beyond and extend our help to various communities and schools.”
This initiative helped sanitize and ensure the structural integrity of the school’s comfort rooms for years to come.
