Last December 2, 2023, UnionBank volunteers from the Bacoor, Imus, and Dasmarinas Branches went to visit Emmanuel Resurreccion Congressional Integrated High School. This initiative is geared towards enhancing the school’s facilities and providing crucial support to its Gender and Development Program.

The donation included three pails of paint, a heavy-duty wireless microphone, a urinal, lavatory, toilet bowl, and bathroom accessories—all intended for the construction of a much-needed new comfort room. The initiative seeks to address essential needs within the school, creating a better learning environment for students and teachers alike.

During the turnover ceremony, Mr. Ryan Villanueva, the school’s principal, expressed the school’s gratitude. He emphasized the donation’s important role in advancing their Gender and Development Program and constructing a comfort room. He highlighted that its impact extends not only to students but also embraces teachers and parents.

Ms. Noemi Marcera, the school coordinator, shared these sentiments, expressing hope for future collaborations between the school and UnionBank’s GBC Program. She stated, “Sana po ay magkita-kita pa tayo sa susunod na taon at inyong masuportahan ang mga susunod pang proyekto ng paaralan.”

With one initiative at a time, UnionBank’s commitment to corporate social responsibility continues to shine through its GoBeyond Communities Program. This not only reflects the Bank’s values but also gives employees a meaningful chance to contribute to lasting positive change in their communities.
