UnionBank volunteers from Villa Beltran Ramon Isabela and Cauayan Isabela Branch embarked on a GoBeyond Communities project to benefit the small community in Villa Beltran, Ramon Isabela.
Their selfless efforts included donating essential construction materials and conducting a free learning session on information security and financial literacy for the youth members of the Saint Fatima Chapel.
The senior citizen members of the chapel were overjoyed when the UnionBank volunteers announced their plans to extend the chapel building. UnionBank Senior Branch Ambassador, Emily De Vera, shared, “Their smiles were heartfelt as they expressed their gratitude for this long-awaited dream becoming a reality.”
The youth members of the chapel were equally engaged during the information security discussion. Their eagerness to learn and their insightful questions showcased their understanding of the importance of protecting their data.
After the successful event, the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the invaluable knowledge and support provided by the UnionBank volunteers. To cap off the day, the volunteers prepared a delightful miryenda for all the beneficiaries.
