Volunteers from UnionBank Makati CBD Region went to Eco Savers club of Manila to donate school supplies, cleaning materials, and other equipment to support the nationwide recycling campaign.
Launched in 2012, the Ecosavers club is part of the Department of Environment and Natural resources (DENR) National Ecosavers Program (NEP) that aims to grow the number of active students that are actively participating in recycling plastic waste.
This GBC activity would not be possible without UnionBank Sales Service Officer, Theresa Dango, who proposed and organized the initiative.
UnionBank’s unwavering dedication to environmental sustainability shone brightly as it brought joy and support to over 200 students through this initiative. It stands as a testament to UnionBank’s deep-rooted commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, driven by a desire to leave a meaningful imprint on countless communities.
Through heartfelt initiatives like these, UnionBank continues to sow positive change, nurturing a future where every individual and community can thrive.
