On March 16, 2024, volunteers from UnionBank’s Luzon-South region traveled to Luisiana, Laguna, to donate school supplies at a local church as part of the bank’s GoBeyond Communities initiative.
The volunteers were warmly welcomed by the members of the church, and the beneficiaries happily received the donations, which included plastic folders, paper supplies, safety scissors, pens, notebooks, and more.
For UnionBank Binan-Carmona Branch Manager Jennifer Reyes, witnessing the happiness and thankfulness in the eyes of the beneficiaries was a great feeling. It served as a poignant reminder of the great impact that acts of kindness and generosity can have on the lives of others.
As the volunteers departed, they felt their hearts overflowing with warmth and fulfillment, having spent the day making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
