A Heartwarming Gesture: UnionBank’s Day of Giving at Bahay Puso Foundation

On September 22, 2023, a team of 10 UnionBank volunteers from UnionBank Plaza in Ortigas, visited Obispado de Balanga, Bahay Puso Foundation, to bring joy and donate essential items as a form of thanksgiving activity for the elderly.
One of the volunteers, Russel Flores from the Financial Systems Department, shared how fulfilling the experience was. “It was a heartwarming journey filled with memorable moments. Witnessing the elderly residents of Bahay Puso Apostolate Foundation smiling, clapping, and dancing during our performances was truly priceless.
“The team-building session after the GBC activity strengthened our bonds by creating beautiful memories that highlighted the profound impact of our collective efforts to serve those in need.” He ended.
The donations include adult diapers, coffee, sacks of rice, milk, and more.
The elderly beneficiaries expressed their gratitude with some thanksgiving messages for the employee volunteers.
