UnionBank’s Commitment to Education: Renovating CAA-BF Int’l Elementary School

Last April 20, 2024, a team of UnionBank volunteers went to CAA-BF International Elementary School in Las Piñas to donate school supplies and help paint the school walls that were due for renovation.

The volunteers were warmly welcomed by the faculty members, and the beneficiaries happily interacted with the volunteers, during the short program that includes a short financial literacy seminar.

This outreach was proposed and organized by UnionBank Branch Manager, Renee Gardiola, who came up with “Project C.O.R.S.” (Cleaning, Organizing, and Repainting Schools) and their first beneficiary includes CAA-BF International Elementary School.

Renee expressed her joy as her team of UnionBank employee volunteers worked together to help distribute the donations and paint the old school walls.

“I was pleased when we visited this school to help bring joy to the students and faculty members because of its hidden location. The school lacks some facilities, and I was informed that UnionBank was one of the few organizations that responded to their call for donations,” she ended.

Witnessing the happiness and thankfulness in the eyes of the beneficiaries was a great feeling. It served as a reminder of how kindness and generosity created a positive impact on the lives of others.
