Last May 18, 2024, UnionBank held a Vaccination Drive on the 47th and 48th floors of UnionBank Plaza as part of its annual health initiative, ‘Tutok Kalusugan.’
The drive saw employees and their dependents receiving a range of vaccines, including TDaP, Pneumococcal, Flu, and HPV vaccines. Attendees registered upon arrival to confirm their attendance and underwent a quick screening by licensed physicians to ensure they were fit to receive the vaccines. After passing the screening, they proceeded to the vaccination stations.
The event featured the same partner vendors and healthcare providers from the initial Health Fair. These vendors offered a variety of healthy food options and wellness products, such as taho, multigrain breads and pastries, low-carb alternatives, coffee, vitamins, supplements, therapy oils, and prepaid health cards. Attendees also had access to complimentary consultations from Healthway, Shinagawa Eye Center, and MindNation. Spa, facial, and massage services were available, with providers only requesting tips or donations.
A play area was set up on the 47th floor for the children of employees, allowing them to play while their parents queued for the vaccination.
Following the success of the vaccination drive, UnionBank has scheduled a second run in June. This additional session aims to accommodate those who were unable to attend the initial event, ensuring all employees and their dependents could benefit from the important vaccination.
UnionBank’s ‘Tutok Kalusugan‘ Vaccination Drive is a testament to the bank’s commitment to the health and well-being of its employees and their families, reinforcing the importance of preventive healthcare and promoting a healthier lifestyle for all.
