On March 23, 2024, volunteers from UnionBank’s Tagbilaran branch visited Oy National High School as part of the Bank’s GoBeyond Communities initiative, which aims to support communities through donations and financial literacy workshops.

The organizer, UnionBank Sales and Service Officer Theresa Dango, shared her experience, saying, “The outreach program made me realize that even in simple ways, we can make others smile by sharing with those in need.”

The team of UnionBank volunteers brought high-quality wooden construction materials for the classrooms, two smart televisions, four buckets of white paint, and food to share with the faculty members and parents who were present.

Over 200 students benefited from this initiative. UnionBank remains committed to empowering communities through GoBeyond Communities. Together, we will continue to spread hope, kindness, and support, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we touch.
