Ubuntu In Action: UnionBankers Power Vigan’s Brigada Eskwela

Vigan, September 25, 2023 – Volunteers from UnionBank’s Vigan Branch and the teachers and staff of Vigan National High School East worked tirelessly to refurbish the school’s classrooms that Typhoon Egay damaged. Despite the non-stop rain, their dedication to the community and belief in the power of education remained unwavering.
Their efforts extended beyond the rainy day cleanup as they worked together to repaint and restore the classrooms to their former glory. The smiles on the faces of students and teachers proved that their hard work was making a significant impact.
UnionBank’s Brigada Eskwela 2023 exemplified the spirit of Ubuntu, emphasizing humanity’s interconnectedness and the idea that we all thrive when we support and uplift one another.
