UnionBank launched its Nutrition Month celebration on July 5-6, 2023, with a vibrant mini bazaar in the Plaza Lobby and UnionBank Square. The bazaar featured a variety of nutritious food and products for UnionBank employees to purchase.
With the theme “Eat Well, Live Well,” the mini bazaar showcased vendors offering healthy options such as fresh salads from Hey! Salads, flavorful egg tarts from Egg Tarts MNL, hot and cold beverages from WKND Coffee, fresh vegetables from Rural Rising Philippines, and more. Employees eagerly participated in the event, embracing the opportunity to make healthier choices.
As part of the celebration, an Ubuntugether Session titled “The Ultimate Healthy Lunchbox” also took place on the 14th Floor of UnionBank Plaza. Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian Mary Jeean Rico, the keynote speaker of the event, shared valuable insights on healthy eating habits and discussed ways on how to make sustainable lifestyle changes and habits that will last a lifetime. The audience enjoyed a delicious and nutritious lunch during the session.
Chief Human Resource Officer Michelle Rubio also graced the event and emphasized the importance of health in her opening remarks. She highlighted the significance of regular check-ups and preventive care to maintain one’s health, encouraging employees to prioritize their well-being by availing the free Executive Check-Up benefit annually.
UnionBank’s Nutrition Month celebration exemplifies the organization’s commitment to employee wellness. By providing access to nutritious options and informative sessions, the Bank fosters a culture of well-being and healthy living among its work force.
