Toy Kingdom Sale at UnionBank: UnionBankers Enjoy Discounts and Donate Toys to Saint Rita Orphanage

Aboitiz-led UnionBank, in partnership with Toy Kingdom, hosted a special six-day sale event at UB Plaza and UB Square, offering exciting discounts to UnionBankers. The six-day sale was stretched in two separate celebrations – Mother’s Day and Father’s Day – making it more meaningful for the parents in UnionBank.
During the toy sale, UnionBankers did not only take advantage of the huge discounts, but also participated in a toy donation drive for the Saint Rita Orphanage. Employees are given the chance to donate some of their purchases to children – from newborn to eight years old.
The orphanage, located in Sucat, Parañaque City, Metro Manila, provides a nurturing environment for less fortunate children and orphans.
UnionBankers happily contributed most of their purchased toys for donation, recognizing the importance of spreading joy and making a positive impact on the lives of children in need. The generous donations brought smiles to the children at Saint Rita Orphanage last June 2, 2023, along with a short program filled with fun games and activities for the children.
Events like the Toy Kingdom Sale and toy donation demonstrate the Bank’s dedication in upholding Corporate Social Responsibility, creating meaningful connections, and supporting the welfare of underprivileged communities.
