UnionBank, AWS Risk Workshop – Cloud Computing

August 2, 2022 – UnionBank of the Philippines in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) conducted a Risk and deep-dive session focusing on Risk & Assurance Workstreams for the Bank’s Cloud Migration and Services.
Over 21 attendees from IT (Information Technology), the Data and AI (Artificial Intelligence) Policy Team, and the Bank’s Cloud ECCS team gathered virtually to learn from AWS, FSI and Compliance Team Head of Security, Matt Nixon.
The 3 Hour session was focused on ensuring UnionBank’s Cloud initiatives stays in-line with Risk Regulation and Compliance.

This refresher/learning session is part of the Bank’s efforts to upskill and accelerate the Cloud Migration Program and UnionBank’s Users, Load, Applications, and Platforms Center of Excellence (ULAP) partnership with AWS.
