GSIS clients frequently visit our branch to withdraw their pensions, which is often the source of their much needed funds. One day, a client went to our branch with wounds on her knee and elbow. She said she earlier fell into a hole on her way to our branch. I immediately advised her to sit down as I went about cleaning her wounds. Upon learning that she was a spinster and had no one to look after her back home, I asked our utility person to buy our client her very own first aid kit using my own money. I then taught her how to take care of her wounds so she can do it herself when she got home. 

That day, not only were we able to help our client finish her bank transactions, we were also able to make her feel how important her well being is to all of us in the bank. “Paano nalang ako kung wala kayo?” she emotionally told us that day. Since then, this client became the “Lola” of our branch. Just as we helped her that day, she helps us each time she visits our branch by brightening our day with her jolly smile.    

By doing more and doing great, we helped make a client’s life better and our relationship stronger. Now, that’s MAGIS at work!
