UnionBank appoints seasoned Marketing and Strategic Transformation professional as Chief Marketing Officer

Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) has recently announced the appointment of seasoned Marketing and Strategic Transformation professional, Albert C. Cuadrante, as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, effective August 16, 2021.

 

As Chief Marketing Officer, Cuadrante will oversee the marketing, branding, and reputation teams of the UnionBank Group.

“In support of our aspiration to become a great retail bank, having Albert on board will help us develop a world-class marketing organization that will accelerate the growth and engagement of our customer base. He will also be responsible for furthering our efforts of building UnionBank as the brand of choice in financial services,” said Ana A. Delgado, UnionBank Chief Customer Experience Officer, Chief Digital Channels Officer and Fintech Business Group Head.

Cuadrante brings more than two decades of advertising, marketing, strategic digital transformation, and digital marketing expertise.

 

Prior to joining UnionBank, he was the President of Acumen Strategy Consultants. He was formerly the Head of Digital Commerce and Customer Loyalty of Jollibee Foods Corporation, and President of Greenwhich Pizza. He started his Marketing career at Procter & Gamble.

He was the 2013 recipient of the Asia Pacific Tambuli CMO of the Year Award and was the pioneer Jury President of Asia Pacific Tambuli’s Young Marketing Leaders Award for 2021.

 

Cuadrante has a BS Management Engineering degree from the Ateneo de Manila University and is currently part of the university’s School of Management faculty.
