#WOMANIFESTO: The Power Issue
This year’s International Women’s Month theme opens our eyes to the fact that the fight for equal opportunities and empowerment is no longer just a battle cry of women. It has transformed into a call for a gender-equal world. Women play a vital role in empowering the society, starting from the household, in school, and even in the workplace. When women take the lead, possibilities are endless. Every woman is an influencer in the form of mother, a sister, a wife, a mentor, a leader, and a colleague.
#Womanifesto: The Power Issue celebrates the female drivers who steer towards the success of the Bank in various tracks – Joyce Gonzalez in Sales, Ana Aboitiz-Delgado in Marketing, and Michelle Rubio in Human Resource. This issue is not just about empowered women. It is about how these empowered women also inspire and empower every UnionBanker – enabling us to own the future.
Our fullest issue yet was an opportunity to engage UnionBankers more. We have the Leading Ladies whose roles challenge the norms, UB Jet Setters who portray the work-life balance in the Bank, and UGames Mobile Legends Tournament Launch on boosting the morale and promoting camaraderie across the Bank. We also featured City Savings Bank as they prepare the path to go Agile and UBX on how they can leverage on unscalable customer service and take off. We are still on a high after we celebrated our 38th anniversary last January and shared the 2030 Manifesto, a roadmap on how we as an organization can pedal to the metal and ultimately win as one.
